Why do we cry at fictional funerals?
Why does a villain's backstory make us uncomfortable?
Why does a certain song take us back to a moment we would rather forget?

Stories don't come from nothing. They're inspired by the patchwork of emotions, relationships, and trials that make up the human experience.

At Romallise we ask:  What if we use stories to help people through the difficult parts of being human?

How it works

01 Root It

Every topic we cover is grounded in
peer-reviewed research and
evidence-based frameworks from social work, CBT, DBT, or expressive arts therapy. The story comes after the science.

But the science isn't the only thing we trust. Some truths were known long before they were studied. We also center lived experience, faith, and the cultural wisdom passed down through generations.

Bonus! The needs of our community are very important to us. Offerings are greatly shaped by the everyday struggles that YOU are facing.

02  Find It

Then we pull from our pop culture knowledge and community to find an anime, film, novel, TV show, or book that builds from that topic. We often find the best stories always have something to contribute to the conversation.

03  Make It

Journals, workshops, immersive experiences, small groups...

There are so many ways to engage with the Romallise community. Each product and experience is reviewed by licensed mental health professionals and tested before it reaches you.

Your voice creates impact.

Schedule a discovery interview to share with us how you use (or don't use!) media to cope with life stressors. Your responses will be used to create new offerings to fill the gap in mental health access and education.
